Students wanting to pursue a career as civil lawyers should first have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Law. They will study legal proceedings, constitutional law, tort, property law, civil rights, and will participate in mock trials and debates. During their last year students are to choose which specialization they would like such as family law, criminal justice, or intellectual property.
With some additional requirements, a Bachelor in Civil Law degree allows graduates to become paralegals, attorneys, notaries, public prosecutors, and civil rights lawyers.

Urban and regional planners determine the best uses of land and resources for homes, businesses, and recreation. They devise ways to renovate slums, expand cities, modernize transportation systems, and distribute public facilities such as schools and parks. Court reporters create verbatim transcripts of legal proceedings, speeches, meetings, and even conversations. They use several methods to ensure that the spoken word is accurately recorded. The combinations are recorded electronically and displayed as text. This process is known as computer-aided transcription. Stenotype machines are also used in real-time court reporting. Reporters type in text that appears instantly as real-time captions on display screens. Called Communication Access Realtime Translation, this process is primarily used in courtroom settings, although it is also used for closed-captioning of television programs for the hearing impaired. Reporters that specialize in this type of work are called stenocaptioners. They may be employed by television and cable stations, sporting events, and a variety of other businesses.
