Prepare for an exciting career in the IT field with CDI College's Network and Database Administrator program.
This program will teach you how to install, maintain and manage a computer network. You will also gain the essential skills to plan, implement, administer and support databases in a networked environment. In addition, you will focus on developing the computer-user support skills needed to meet the demands of employers in every industry. You will learn Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, SQL Server, Linux, and Microsoft Office. You will also prepare for these five industry-standard certifications CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) and Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA).
When you graduate from the Network and Database Administrator program, you will be prepared design, implement, manage and maintain database installations and computers ranging from Local Area Networks to larger Wide Area Networks that span across several locations. Career opportunities include positions such as database administrator, network administrator, technical and database support specialist, help desk technician and troubleshooter.
